I believe I have now pretty much fully joined the world of technology. It wasn't a fight, just a gradual transition over the past 15 years or so.
But I now have profiles on so many things, I have begun having a hard time keeping track of where I am on the net. I opened my first myspace profile a few years ago but closed it after I got some comments from a guy who decided he wanted to make me feel uncomfortable.
I now have a new myspace profile and I am also on GenerateGreenIdeas, facebook, Twitter, blogger (of course), Zazzle, ebay, amazon, youtube, meetup and possibly others I've forgotten about. I also read all my news, listen to music, do all my banking and quite a bit of my shopping online. I update my profiles and photos and check email via my cell phone and text so often I had to get an unlimited texting plan.
So, my integration is not complete because technology will forever be advancing, hence full integration will never be attainable. But, I'm about as integrated as one can get.

Resolution
I didn't actually fully decide that losing weight would be my resolution this year until I tried on a pair of slacks that I hadn't worn since before the holidays.
The closure was so tight, I had to suck it in all day just so I wouldn't pop a button.
So, I logged into my SparkPeople account...the account I hadn't used in eight months! Egads! Had it really been that long? Apparently so.
I had a lovely bout of pneumonia back in the Autumn, and since they weighed me at the doctor's office, I knew that in early November, I had officially gained at least five pounds since the battery in my home scale died.
I don't know how much I weigh right now since my battery is still yet to be replaced (it's been several months but I've looked around and can't find the right battery).
So, I just logged into Amazon.com and bought myself a couple new batteries.
Hopefully, they will arrive by next Friday like it said. Then, I can get back up on this horse and eventually ride off into the sunset.

Epiphany
Did you know that today is apparently Epiphany? Neither did I.
My MIL just sent me an email that said Happy Epiphany. I had no idea what she was talking about at first. I'm not religious (although I grew up in a "Christian" home), but I thought I post this anyway...
Upon further investigation it is (excerpt taken from wikipedia):
Epiphany
Here is a blog that has additional information...

Epiphany
(Greek for "to manifest" or "to show"), is a Christian feast day which celebrates the revelation of God in human form in the person of Jesus Christ. Epiphany falls on January 6 or, if celebrated on a Sunday, on the first Sunday after New Year's Day.[1] Western Christians commemorate the visitation of the Biblical Magi to the child Jesus on this day, i.e., his manifestation to the Gentiles. Eastern Christians commemorate the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, his manifestation to the world as the Son of God. It is also called Theophany, especially by Eastern Christians.
